  • 2 tbsp vegetable or sesame oil
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow or green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup green peas fresh or frozen
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • Stir-Fry Sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water optional, for thickening

Cooking Instructions
 

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until bright and just tender.
  3. Add bell peppers and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add peas, garlic, and ginger; stir-fry for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in stir-fry sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes, until glossy and coated.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot.
